This site will keep you up-to-date on important matters facing Southern Maryland and give you the chance to learn more about me.

I am currently in my third term as a State Senator for District 29, which covers the lower third portion of Calvert County, all of St. Mary’s County, and the Benedict/ Hughesville area in Charles County. As a Maryland Senator, I am constitutionally obligated to serve you in the Maryland General Assembly for 90 days in the winter beginning on the second Wednesday of every January and ending in the middle of April. My committee assignment is the Senate Education, Environmental and Health Committee.
